The Lodge is a private multi-disciplinary facility offering 1-2-1 and small group fitness, along with sports massage, therapy/rehabilitation and acupuncture. We are set in the stunning grounds of The Old Vicarage, built in 1875. With approximately 1.5 acres of historic Cornish gardens.
One to one training designed for you
Personal Training can be an excellent progression from the clinic room, or even combined. Working with your therapist to ensure you have a totally bespoke fitness plan tailored around any current or recovering illness or injury. Personal Training is exactly that, personal. There are no one size fits all approaches here. The great thing we can offer is continuity of care, we can help with any injury or pain in the clinic and help restore better movement with Personal Training, we can really spend the time with you, working on you. We are specialists in lower back pain, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes and pre and post natal and pre and post operative care. We can also really help start or kick start your fitness. Feeling a little nervous about going into the gym by yourself? Then we can get you confident in our private gym.

Professional soft tissue therapy
A chance to work on all of those aches and pains from top to toe. time to hit all areas of the body, give yourself a chance to be worked and help reduce pain and stiffness. Appointments may include deep tissue massage and medical acupuncture. * Please note RockTape and cupping are not included in these appointments.

Evidence based therapy bespoke to you
Sports Therapy is not just for athletes, but for many different kinds of muscular and joint pain. We can combine different treatment modalities to get you back to what you love.
Once the assesment is complete we will discuss a treatment plan and make sure you are happy with everything we have discussed before moving forwards.
Treatments can include, deep tissue massage/sportsmassge, acupuncture k taping.
Our goal is to work with you in getting the most form your treatment to ensure the best outcome.
Initial Appointment £50 for a 75min appointment, discounts for follow up appointments and packages.
Professional service in a relaxing environment
Medical Acupuncture involves inserting fine needles into specific points of the body. Intended Outcomes are: Reduction of pain Alleviation of muscle spasm and tension Facilitation of the healing process Induction of local and general relaxation If you are unsure if this is the correct appointment for you, please speak to the acupuncture practitioner prior to booking. Electro acupuncture uses similar tecniques, but with the added stimulation of a small electrical current. This has been proven to be very effective in the removal of chronic pain, along with sporting injuries.

Personal training can sometimes be a daunting thought for some of us. So, here at the lodge,we have put our heads together and come up with small group training. getting all the benefit of Personal Training just with friends. We can offer clases like Pilates, TRX, Stick mobility and more. With our fantastic location we utalise or bespoke lodge as well as the stunning grounds around the 18th Century Vicarage, providing a truely unique expirience.
